The Assistant Store General Manager will report to a Store General Manager and assist in the management of a vast hypermarket operation in Thailand. The Assistant General Manager will be required to not only assistant to maintain operational excellence within a vast retail outlet, but also seek new business opportunities for potential cash & carry sales to traditional trade, and professional business ventures. The Assistant Store General Manager will also need to ensure store layouts and merchandise offerings are suitable to the local market, while keeping inventory levels are maintained to exact standards. The sought after candidate will also need to assist in the supervision of a large number of subordinates and their respective managers to continually maintain operations and customer services levels at a very high level.

The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level in a related subject and have at least 3+ years of working experience preferably in a multinational retailer and/or a Fast Moving Consumer Goods organization with a strong commercial mind. The Assistant Store General Manager must also have a firm understanding of consumer behaviors and selling large volumes of products for both professional and personal usages. The sought after candidate will also have good English communication abilities, be able to work in various locations and understand the stresses and lifestyle associated with working in the retail industry. Additionally the successful candidate must be flexible in terms of work locations and job rotations throughout Thailand.
