Asset Management Executive - Data Center - Smart Search Recruitment

Our client is a global leader in infrastructure support and supply chain solutions, serving a wide range of industries including technology, utilities, and critical services. Their operations span complex logistics, technical services, and facility management, with a strong focus on reliability, safety, and innovation. Our client’s data center division plays a vital role in ensuring seamless, uninterrupted services through advanced systems management and a commitment to operational excellence. Currently, they are seeking an Asset Management Executive to support their data center operations in Thailand.

The Asset Management Executive will be responsible for overseeing computer assets and server-related logistics within the warehouse or distribution center of the data center. This includes maintaining detailed records, and providing efficient, customer-focused service to ensure smooth operations of the Asset Management Team. This role will involve the following key responsibilities:

• Receive, unpack, check shipments and prepare computer kits for deployment.
• Update inventory databases, count stock, and report for defective items.
• Maintain and operate both manual and electronic records to ensure accurate documentation and reliable data management.
• Utilize asset management tools, including barcode scanners, to conduct inventory checks.
• Deliver excellent customer service by paying close attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and supporting an organized, efficient work environment.
• Carry out other related tasks as needed to support the smooth operations of the Asset Management Team.
• Keep precise and up-to-date records of all items received, shipped, or relocated within the designated area.
• Handle server-related equipment upon arrival at the data center, create layout plans, and coordinate the installation of servers into racks.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in data center or warehouse logistics.
• Proficient in English and Thai.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
