Our client is a manufacturing company that specializes in the production of high-quality stainless steel pipes fittings for industrial applications, serving oil & gas customers across regional and international markets. Founded in Thailand in 2017, the company is a joint venture between two companies with 13 offices globally and employing over 3,000 employees. Our client is continuously expanding their business in Thailand and is now looking for an HR Officer to join the team to support HR functions.
The HR Officer will be responsible for various HRM functions including recruitment and onboarding, compliance and reporting, payroll, training and development, work permit and visa, and employee relations. This will involve the following main responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end hiring activities, including job advertisements, candidate evaluation, interviews, and hiring.
- Partner with line managers to understand and define role requirements and specifications.
- Prepare onboarding and orientation for new employees.
- Compile, manage, and analyze consolidated HR reports and data, including headcount, turnover, training records, and recruitment status.
- Ensure HR files and records are accurately maintained and in line with ISO9001 and company standards.
- Review and implement HR processes to ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Identify skill gaps and training requirements with department leaders.
- Research, select, and organize suitable internal and external training activities and evaluate training outcomes.
- Work closely and coordinate with another HR Officer to oversee payroll.
- Coordinate with regional offices abroad.
- Prepare work permit and visa for expat employees.
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and advise on HR policies and procedures.
- Support programs that foster employee engagement and positive workplace culture.
Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving employee retention and satisfaction.
Qualifications Required:
- Qualified to degree level in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related subject.
- At least 5 – 10 years of HR experience, particularly in recruitment, HR reporting, and training coordination.
- Good Command of written and spoken English and Thai.
- Familiarity with ISO9001 documentation and standards.
- Strong knowledge of Thai employment laws and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines with high level of attention to details and professionalism.
- Strong commitment and desire for long-term employment with the company.
