Human Resource Manager - Premium Home and Living Products - Smart Search Recruitment

Our client is a dealer and distributor of premium home and living products (luxury outdoor furniture). They sell primarily to end consumers (B2C) and project-based clients, including homeowners, interior designers, and property-related customers seeking premium home and living products.

We are seeking a strong, hands-on HR Manager to set up and manage the full HR function independently. This role is both strategic and operational, responsible for building HR systems from the ground up while managing day-to-day HR operations. This will include the following duties and responsibilities:

• Design and implement a structured HR framework aligned with business growth and organizational needs
• Formalise existing HR practices into clear systems, workflows, and standard operating procedures
• Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies, company rules, and internal regulations in compliance with Thai labour law
• Manage end-to-end recruitment including manpower planning, sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
• Oversee full-loop HR operations covering payroll processing, statutory submissions, benefits, and employee records
• Establish and manage time and attendance systems to ensure accuracy and prevent time fraud
• Act as a trusted HR advisor, handling employee relations, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution
• Support performance management, probation reviews, contract administration, and employee exits
• Coordinate expatriate and international workforce matters including work permits, visas, and cross-cultural communication

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR handling full-loop HR operations
• Strong background in HR strategy, system setup, and policy development and implementation
• Ability to manage HR functions independently with minimal supervision
• Experience handling expatriate documentation, including visas and work permits
• Experience setting up and managing employee benefits, including insurance and provident fund schemes
• Strong character with confidence, integrity, and the ability to make firm and fair decisions
• Comfortable working in a family business environment and handling sensitive matters professionally
• Hands-on, practical, and solution-oriented with the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills in Thai and English, with the ability to work effectively with international stakeholders
